I managed a cross-disciplinary team of Creative Services Managers and Specialists and annual budgets up to $8.4M. My team designed and produced all marketing materials to launch games, console systems, peripherals and online services.

Branding: NEW PLATFORM, NEW DESIGN SYSTEM

I directed the design for PlayStation’s brand identity system six times from 2007 through 2015. With each new platform, the entire brand language changed from packaging through retail, PR and online communications.

Platform Launches

I directed the global creative for the PlayStation 4 launch. Including the product photography, packaging, custom POP for retail and sales education tools.

The Games

I directed the design and delivery of production-ready files for 25 to 45 game packages per year in English, English/French, Spanish and Portuguese. In 15 years, my total run was 270 games (or 88 unique IPs).

Includes the design of cover art, logo, back of package, print and digital manuals, disc art, speciality packaging and cartons, and all retail and online communications assets.

Packaging

I directed the packaging creative for worldwide, regional and account-specific packaging. I partnered with the Marketing, Developers, Legal, Executive Management, Operations, Localization, and Engineering teams to get the packaging on the shelves on time.

Photography

I have directed both still and live-action scenarios; managed single and multiple day shoots; and worked with a range of talent from kids and young adults, to actors, models and US Navy SEALs.

All of the examples in my portfolio are the direct result of advance planning and collaboration with marketing and the photographer.

Retail Solutions

My team supported the design and production of all in-store PlayStation point of purchase materials. In direct and active coordination with the Channel Marketing team, we handled everything from platform launches to major (and minor) game releases to sales training materials.
